We want to thank everyone who supported our recent golf tournament. It was a huge success and a good time was had by all! If you golfed, sponsored a tee sign, donated a raffle gift, worked or played the tournament you were directly responsible for the success of the day and we all thank you for your support!

Each year Cape Cod Landscape Association holds its annual golf tournament to raise funds for their scholarships. The Mike Stacy Memorial Scholarships are awarded to Cape Cod students who will pursue a career in the green industry. The Toolship Scholarships are awarded to a son or daughter of CCLA member(s) to be used towards furthering their education in any area of study.
The CCLA scholarship fund is in honor of Mike Stacy, a native of Cape Cod, active member of CCLA and owner of Mike Stacy Landscaping. Mr. Stacy passed away in August of 1989. Lacking a formal education in horticulture, Mr. Stacy was acutely aware of the importance of continually expanding his knowledge and appreciated the educational and professional opportunities gained through his involvement with CCLA. It is fitting that others be afforded the opportunity to further their education and careers through this fund in his name.
It’s an honor for CCLA to be involved with The Mike Stacy Memorial Scholarship Fund and we thank each and every person and company for your support, which makes this possible. This year we awarded $9,500 thanks to your help..
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

When: Saturday, September 30th

This event is our only fundraiser for the scholarship fund and a lot of people work really hard trying to raise money for this event. The lead person is Paula Marlowe, of Stonewood Products and the current Vice President of CCLA. She works tirelessly to ensure this day is a success on all levels. What she reminds us is that everyone can help, not just those in sales or in retail, but everyone. Maybe you have a favorite hairdresser. florist or restaurant; perhaps you work with someone who knows someone who has a rug store, a pet grooming business, works in a pub or maybe you have access to tickets to concerts or sporting events. read more…
